You Are Chosen For This
Have you ever felt the weight of other people’s opinions holding you back? The fear of what they might say, how they might react, or whether they’ll understand your calling? If so, you’re not alone. Too many of us hesitate to walk in our God-given gifts because we’re afraid of judgment, criticism, or rejection. But here’s the truth: GOD didn’t give you a gift just for you to hide it.
Your Calling Isn’t Up for Debate
When GOD gives you a gift, it’s not up for discussion. It’s not something to be voted on or approved by people who don’t understand the vision He placed in you. Think about Moses—he didn’t feel qualified, but God called him anyway. David was overlooked, but God anointed him anyway. Jesus Himself was rejected by His own people, yet He fulfilled His purpose anyway.
So why do we let other people’s doubts keep us from moving forward?
When you shrink your gift to make others comfortable, you’re not just holding yourself back—you’re withholding the impact GOD intended for others through you.
Fear Will Keep You Stuck, But Faith Will Move You Forward
Fear whispers lies:
“What if they don’t support me?”
“What if I fail?”
“What if I’m not good enough?”
But faith speaks truth:
God called me, and that’s enough.
I don’t need approval from man when I have an assignment from God.
I’m anointed for this, and God will equip me.
At the end of the day, you can either let fear keep you stuck or let faith move you forward. Which one will you choose?
You Were Chosen for This
Romans 11:29 says, “For God’s gifts and His call can never be withdrawn.” That means what God placed inside of you isn’t going anywhere. You can try to ignore it, run from it, or quiet it down, but it will always be there—waiting for you to embrace it.
So go ahead. Sing the song. Write the book. Start the business. Preach the message. Step into the calling. Because your obedience is someone else’s blessing.
Don’t let the opinions of people stop you from doing what GOD has already called you to do. They didn’t give you the gift, and they can’t take it away. Walk boldly, move in faith, and trust that GOD’s plan for you is greater than anyone’s opinion about you.
Your Gift Is Needed—Now Walk in It
No more waiting. No more overthinking. No more playing small. God has placed something powerful inside of you, and it’s time to let it shine.
So the next time doubt creeps in, remember this: GOD didn’t make a mistake when He chose you. Walk in your gift. The world is waiting.
